In House Elementary School Wrestling (Grades 1 - 4), Winter Program
Starting the First Week in January
WADSWORTH
IN HOUSE ELEMENTARY WRESTLING PROGRAMWadsworth will be hosting
an in house Elementary School Wrestling League. The League will meet twice a week; one night for instruction and the other
for applying the skills in a competitive format. The practices will run on Monday nights for one hour and the meets will be
held on Thursday nights, both nights starting at 7:00pm. On competition nights, wrestlers will compete on full mats with an
official. This program will run for 7 weeks and will cost $145.00.
Walk in registration is December 1st and 2nd, starting at
7:00pm. On line registration is on going, go to our on line registration page..Middle

WADSWORTH MIDDLE
SCHOOL WRESTLING PROGRAM Included are; structured
practices, live competition, a t-shirt and scrimmages. This league is for wrestlers in grades 5 - 8, beginners are welcomed.
This will be a 10 week program with a 2 week break in between for the Holidays. Wadsworth will have 2 outstanding Coaches
running this program Both are ex-Franklin High Standouts; Joe McGann and Gus Mancini. Both coaches were State Champs for Franklin,
Joe a 4 X state place winner, a F.S. All American and a National Prep Champ at Blair Acc. Both coaches wrestled in college.
The cost of this program will be $225.00. This does include the Friday Night Fights Schedule and program. Fees do not
include any optional tournament competitions. This Team program is opened to outside Franklin residents where there is no
M.S. wrestlingThe registration fee for middle school wrestling does include Friday Night Fights. After
2 years of trial and error, we have modified our program, Friday Night Fights. We have come up with what we think will be
a positive experience for your wrestlers. This is our new format: the league will be opened to any interested individual wrestler
or wrestling teams. These wrestlers will be divided into 2 groups, novice and experienced. The 2 groups will be separated
by Madison weights. On Fight Nights, the wrestlers will be assigned to a section of mat with their weight class and compete
against each other. On these nights, wrestlers be getting 2-3 bouts each. Officials will be provided and the time will be
kept. Included with the 4 Fight Nights will be a league clinic, a league scrimmage and 1 to 2 outside the league meets. The
outside the league meets will be wrestled on full mats with certified officials. If anyone has any questions please contact
